Diamondback .380acp pocket pistol review. At the offering of a listener, I met him at a local DFW area shooting range and had the opportunity to shoot this little pocket pistol. Tune in for my review of it. From what I was able to research, this is manufactured by the same facility that makes Diamondback Air Boats. Diamondback Airboats, established in 1989, has built its reputation on introducing new designs and products. Diamondback strives to build airboats with the highest quality, design and application in the airboat industry. Diamondback’s proven design and workmanship along with the use of 5086 marine grade aluminum alloys, quality components and dedicated craftsmanship by certified welders and mechanics, has set the new standard in the airboat industry.
I gave this pistol a B rating. Tune in to hear a comment from a listener in England, that’s a real important story, too!
Thanks for listening!

Handgun World Show
Hey Bob,
Thanks for coming out and taking a look at my wife’s gun. She really likes it, and I like it more every time I get to shoot it. Just wanted to clarify, this gun only comes with one magazine. The second one I purchased at additional cost ($30). And when I bought the gun I paid $399. I have seen them from $350-$475. Thanks for the great podcasts, they help get me through the workday. Keep it up!
Thanks for the clarification on the magazine! Good little gun. I like the Diamondback magazines better than the KelTec’s. That was mighty nice of you to let me shoot it. Looking forward to going to the range and throwing some lead downrange at IDPA soon.
Pingback: Diamondback DB380
I am a handicapper so I cannot get to the range often but I just bought one of these Diamondback DB380’s and from the git go it looks like a toy with chinsy parts inside like some of the shit that comes from China. However not a single review has complained about anything so I bought it because carrying my Bersa 41SW has become a toiling task sash weight around my waist. I will keep that for home use. I doubt I will get much practice but I had a lifetime of practice so I will rely on the 100 grain Blackhills ammo and have a go at it.
I purchased a DB380 new, after 300 rounds the mag pops out upon firing. The mag snaps in and locks but when the first shot is fired it pops out. Any commits on this problem?
I’ve had this problem with other guns, but not specifically the DB380. I found it was me, accidentally pressing the mag release button during recoil. (Kahr PM9) You might want to slightly change your grip and see if that helps.
Are you sure you’re not accidentally pressing the mag release button when firing the gun?
