Old guns are fun to talk about and also fun to shoot. Not only are they pieces of history, but many old guns are well made. In this show, I interview Rick Breneman again, he’s one of the hosts of the Power Factor Show on GRRN. He’s an accumulator and shooter of old, historic firearms. So this is sort of a Part 2 of the interview from a few weeks ago. We cover some more information on shooting, reloading and collecting old guns. We discuss military surplus rifles, old 1911’s and shooting them. We also get a little off topic and talk about the .357SIG. Will it be obscure in the future? Then we tie it in to shooting old guns in competition and carrying them for self defense. There are actually 2 interviews in this show, the 2nd one is regarding classification in IDPA and USPSA, with Steve Zopfi of the Power Factor Show. Please remember to join me at the GRRN Forum and also consider an investment in version one of my CD/Digital download. Version 2 will be available in about 2 weeks. 50% of proceeds benefit the Second Amendment Foundation. Thanks for listening.

I treat my gun collection as if it’s a bunch of survival tools. I believe in being prepared. Not only with firearms but in all areas of my life. So recently I interviewed Mr. Chip Monk, host of the Chip Monk Survival Podcast. He shared some excellent ideas on what type of guns to buy or collect from a preparedess perspective. We discussed .22lr, double barrel shotguns, the Taurus Judge, SKS’s and a lot more. Please remember to join the GRRN forum and help the Gun Rights cause. From now until March 15, 2011, I am donating 1/2 of all proceeds from my Shooters Club CD/Download to the 2nd Amendment Foundation. Thanks for listening.

This episode is and interview with Rick Breneman of the Power Factor Show. One of his specialties is collecting firearms. I have not done a show on collecting firearms because I don’t know much about it, so I took this advantage of an expert’s opinion and want to share it with you. We talk about how to acquire collectible firearms, what type Rick collects and what he shoots! The Power Factor Show is also part of the Gun Rights Radio Network and our first video podcast. Enjoy this interview on collecting firearms. Warning, this show could cause a firearms collection addiction.

More military surplus rifle info and a review of my Glock 34. In segment one, a listener from Finland weighs in via email with more information about Finnish Mosin Nagants. In addition to that, I review my Glock 34 9mm. Then in segments 2 and 3 I’ll talk about the court of public opinion and why we have a lot of work to do to win over some people in the general public who are simply ignorant about gun owners.

Military Surplus Guns are sometimes a pretty good buy if you are staying on a tight budget and need a good handgun or rifle. Some are junk, but some are very good. In this episode I spend segment #1 talking about Military Surplus Guns, some popular models and the ammo they shoot. In segment #2 I do a review of my new Comp-Tac M Tac holster for my Glock 19.
