I just started listening to you. I found you on the GRRN’s website. I believe Tom Gresham says that it’s against federal law to have a case containing a firearm that can be opened by TSA agents (ie approved locks). He recommends using a regular padlock after the firearm is checked. I’ll do some digging and get back to you about which episode he mentions that.
You are actually correct. Since recording this show, I’ve listened to Tom’s episode on that. So do NOT use locks that can be opened by TSA. Thanks for your feedback.
