My Minotaur Neutral Cant Holster
Hello Bob,
Unfortunately there are still some ‘may issue’ states that effectively ban concealed carry. Here in Maryland you cant get a ccw unless you are a politician, police officer or have connections with one of the other.
If you apply for a ccw in Maryland and get denied, you can never apply again and you must answer ‘yes’ on any other states questionnaire when they ask if you have ever been turned down for a ccw in another state. ‘May Issue’ is defined as a ‘demonstrating good and substantial need’. Evidently defending my life or my family’s does not qualify as a good and substantial need.
So I continue to try to get the law changed, before I attempt to apply for one.
Good show as always.
You’re correct. Maryland says they have concealed carry, but in effect, they don’t. This is why we need to keep up the fight for gun rights. It may appear as though our side is winning, but your story show’s there’s a long way to go.
