RECORDED BEFORE THE PARIS TERRORIST ATTACKS. There have been a lot of school and gun free zone violence in the past decade or so. Why? One theory is that it’s similar to a riot breaking out, in slow motion. This week, I reference an email from a listener and an article on thresholds of violence and what that means to us as gun carriers. Please remember to participate in our gun and holster giveaway contest right now, ending on 12-24-15.

I was recently asked a question about what are the most probable civilian self defense scenarios. Well, I’ve never been in a shooting (thankfully) but I did some research and came up with my own ideas. Also, I was asked a question about using reloads for concealed carry and I’m against it and explain why.

A very large number of citizens who defend their life with a gun, do so in low light or night time conditions. Yet, due to range availability, most people practice and train in daylight. It’s a completely different world, shooting at night and incorporating a flashlight or weapon mounted light while shooting. It’s also tough to identify your target. This episode is about using lights, night sights, red dot optics and more, in low light and night time shooting.
